Chris
CHRIS JENKINS
Tenor

Chris comes to the Kingsmen from Greensboro, a Piedmont city of North Carolina. At a very young age Chris was introduced  to southern gospel music both at church and through his grandfather who was lead vocalist for a male quartet. He and his family would attend concerts with such groups as Gold City, Kingsmen, and Heaven Bound. From those early introductions, Chris was a fan of this great music, especially the high tenor part and knew he wanted to pursue this profession some day. After becoming involved with several ministries in the last several years, Chris' prayers were answered when the opportunity came for him to audition for the Kingsmen Quartet.

Chris spent six years of his early career as a banker in Greensboro where he resides today. Chris and his family are members of Stevens Memorial Baptist Church in Greensboro, NC, where he was saved at the age of twelve. Chris has studied voice since his teenage years, attending Stamps-Baxter School of Music in Nashville, TN and University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

When not on the road with the Kingsmen, Chris enjoys spending time with his family, collecting vintage southern gospel records, and cooking. Chris' favorite foods are Asian fare and Seafood.
